This is sure to irk the guys over at D1 Grand Prix. Formula Drift is planning to hold 2 events as a preview to a new championship in Japan starting in 2015. It's gonna be interesting to see if this works out or fails to take off the ground. There had also been a previous announcement from Formula Drift about a possible World Championship in 2015.
